The FISHE Team works directly with fishery managers, stock assessment scientists, fishermen, and local community members to help develop and implement scientifically robust monitoring programs and data collection methodologies. We focus on using stock assessment methods specifically developed for fisheries with limited data in order to more accurately assess economically and ecologically important stocks, in turn improving the overall management of the fishery.
